Bike Lanes in Charlottesville

Charlottesville City Council adopted the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan to its 2013 Comprehensive Plan — which guides city decision-making regarding zoning — in 2015. Since then, proposed lanes have been studied, surveyed, and designed — but only some have been constructed. Those paths shown as "PROPOSED" have yet to come to fruition.

The interactive graph below visualizes Charlottesville connected by the proposed bike lanes. To see which streets the proposed or existing lanes are located on, mouse over the paths.
